When we set out to create a design language, we chose to start by breaking down what is important in software design and then build from those broken down pieces. We call it Fission because the beginning of its development involved creating a fissure in design. The Fission Design Language is a collective approach at creating a cohesive, immersive, bright, inviting and inspiring experience through its open design system that can be utilised across multiple platforms.

When we broke down the concepts of design, we were left with five key design concepts that lead us forward in the creation of the Fission Design Language.
