AeroBrowse Rendering Engine (ABRE) and AeroDev
AeroBrowse Rendering Engine (commonly referred to as abbreviated; ABRE) is a lightweight web browser that renders webpages with the ABREHTML and ABRESCRIPT engines, predecessors to AeroHTML and AeroJS respectively. This browser was designed for developers to use in order to test their website’s compatibility with the new rendering engines and by association, the upcoming AeroBrowse browser. AeroBrowse Rendering Engine was discontinued at version 4.0 running ABREHTML 4.x and ABRESCRIPT 4.x and was succeeded by AeroDev which shipped with the first non-beta version of AeroBrowse.
