(Legacy) Version A181101 Highlights

What’s new:

• Added support for Windows 7
• Added support for Windows 8
• Added support for Windows 8.1
• Added support for Windows 10 (32-bit)
• Planned support for newer hardware for Windows 8x and 10 systems running the legacy edition.

Bug Fixes:

• Support for Windows high resolution scaling in the following for newer versions of Windows now added to the legacy edition:
  • [Main] GameOn Control Centre
    • Property windows may vary.
• Discord Overlay causes application to crash unless opened with administrative privileges.

Notes:

The Legacy Edition of the GameOn Alpha Driver has been designed for Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, XP and Vista. Therefore until now, modern graphics cards, drivers and software were not considered for support in the Legacy  version of the GameOn Driver. Since we have decided to add Windows 7 – 8.1 and Windows 10 (32 bit) to the Legacy edition, we will be updating the application to be compatible with hardware for these PCs.

Currently the maximum hardware supported by these drivers include but are not limited to:

• Intel Core Processors (i3, i5, i7)
• NVIDIA GTX 950 Graphics Card or Older

We intend on the next update supporting processors up to and including Intel Core i9 and NVIDIA RTX 2080Ti for compatible modern machines running the legacy edition of GameOn. However, we recommend updating to a modern version of Windows and taking advantage of the non-legacy edition of GameOn
