Version 1905 Highlights

What’s new:

• Added a small “Alpha Software, For Evaluation” text to the splash screen window.
  • Just worth noting for future reference: version numbers may be one behind in images, videos or GIFs published by RWE as version numbers are only updated when the application is ready for release, and many GIFs and images are produced before this date.
• Added function to the “withURI” hyperlink in the sign in menu.
  • This opens a new window that allows the user to avoid signing in with a RWE account, and instead use the subscription’s direct URI to download the packages.
  • It will download the subscription from the URI and automatically import it to the console using the import command (see new commands).

• Implemented some new commands to the command line interface.
  • Commands:
    • import
      • import -subscription [“path”]
        • Imports a subscription that has been downloaded to a local file. (Think magnet downloads for torrents)
        • Can include -temppathURI to avoid typing the entire path, requiring only the file name.
