Version 190902 Highlights

Additions:

• GameOn now checks for updates in the background (rather than interrupting the user on startup)
  • If no updates are available the application will function as expected.
  • If updates are found, an icon indicating that there is an update can be seen in the menu next to the settings tab.
  • Added Extension Updates to the check update process.
• Added support for GameOn Extensions.
  • GameOn Extensions can extend the functionality of the application through various endpoints such as the In-Game Overlay.
    • The In-Game Overlay now features a new “Extensions” panel with quick access to your extensions and their functions.
    • GameOn Extensions can be managed from the “Extensions” screen in the GameOn Driver Menu
      • You can find and download extensions from the Extension Library from this screen.
        • Extensions can be uninstalled and their settings can be accessed from this screen also.
  • GameOn Extensions can be updated independently of GameOn and their updates can be submitted by the developer at any time.
  • Developers can find extension samples on our GitHub!

Changes and Bug Fixes:

• Changed the visual appearance of the “On/Off” Toggle. It now appears more squared and in higher resolution.
• GameOn Capture is now included as an extension and not a core part of the application. Settings you might have had saved for GameOn Capture have been automatically migrated to combat this change. You should not experience any interruptions.
