Update to the RWE CDLN [COVID-19 Update 3]

hcupdate

The RWE CDLN (Content Distribution and Licensing Network), formerly PudinceNET CDN currently powers over 300,000 applications and services on the internet. Due to the influx of online activity during the COVID-19 health pandemic from additional internet users working from home and an insolation, we’re experiencing a large amount of incoming requests and outgoing data transfers on the RWE CDLN.

It is for this reason that we have decided to throttle the CDLN in order to continue to deliver experiences for every single one of those applications and services and to prevent any from experiencing downtime as a result of this traffic increase.

We are currently working with Microsoft and their Azure team as well as our internal engineering team to try and resource some more bandwidth for the network to account for these increases that are to be expected under the circumstances but were not initially anticipated.

On behalf of Ryan Walpole Enterprises, I’d like to extend my apologies to our partners for any inconvenience that may have been caused by the speeds of the CDLN up to this point and for the throttling that will take place until we have a resolution in place.
