The GameOn Application was unable to initialise for testing and running the application (GDVx00004)


The user has attempted to debug or run a GameOn Extension using the GameOn Developer Toolkit and an existing required installation of GameOn could either not be found or started.


  • You do not have GameOn installed on your PC.
  • The copy of GameOn you have on your PC is corrupt or files are missing.


  1. If GameOn is not installed on your PC, please install it from here.
  2. If you are able to run GameOn for Windows 10 on your PC currently, you can try going to Settings and clicking “Verify GameOn Installation”.
  3. If you are unable to fix the issue, try reinstalling GameOn for Windows 10.
